Protests Disrupt Operations at Australian Ports: Sydney and Melbourne Affected

Protests at major Australian ports, including Port Botany and Port Melbourne, caused operational disruptions. In Sydney, demonstrators were charged after an unauthorized pro-Palestinian rally. While this caused a minor delay at Port Botany, operations elsewhere were unaffected. Meanwhile, violent clashes in Melbourne resulted in injuries and disruptions to truck deliveries. Police actively managed the situation to ensure safety and minimal operational impact.

Emirates Shipping Line Poised to Enter China-Australia Trade in Partnership with TS Lines

A new player, Emirates Shipping Line (ESL), is set to enter the China-Australia trade, potentially through an arrangement with Taiwan’s TS Lines. Despite a temporary delay in scheduling, ESL’s entry indicates stability in the trade after COVID disruptions. ESL, ranked 25th globally, offers extensive services in Asia, the Indian Sub-Continent, and the Middle East. The partnership between ESL and TS Lines suggests a slot-swap arrangement, marking ESL’s expansion strategy.

Freight Mart International Proudly Attends OEG Offshore’s Sundowner Event

OEG Offshore have the largest fleet of reusable offshore cargo carrying units and operations in over 60 worldwide locations. They had a Sundowner event last week that aligns with the Australian Oil and Gas Expo, it is a really great way to finish up a big week. A couple of our Fleet controllers were privileged to be invited and help celebrate. Big thank you to all the OEG team, we appreciate the support.

UNDER CONSTRCUTION – Temperature Controlled Storage

We are excited to announce that we are currently in the process of constructing temperature-controlled storage on our premises. This newest facility is being designed to meet the highest standards of temperature regulation and will provide secure and optimal environment for storing of your goods that require specific temperature conditions.

COMING SOON – AQIS Approved Wash Bay

We are pleased to advise that we are in the process of establishing an AQIS approved wash bay at our Miguel Road premises. This wash bay has been specifically designed to meet the stringent requirements set by AQIS to ensure that we can carry out Rural Tailgate Inspections, proper cleaning and disinfection of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
