Import Document Assessment Delays

We’re addressing significant processing delays in Australian Quarantine impacting non-urgent import documents. High volumes, workforce challenges, and the upcoming Brown Marmorated Stink Bug season contribute to these delays.

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Forestry is actively managing the situation by adjusting resources and facilitating extended-hour assessments when possible.

Coffee Mastery Unveiled: A Visit to Upstream Coffee in Sydney

During a recent business trip to Sydney, our General Manager and Customer Relationship Manager had the pleasure of visiting Upstream Coffee, one of our valued customers. The highlight of our visit was a captivating masterclass in “Cupping,” the recognized technique for evaluating coffee quality and identifying any imperfections.

Our gracious hosts, led by Nithya Somaiah, included his talented team comprising Nadia Fernandes, Edward Strachan, Cara Jamjuntra, Florencia Andreosi, and Amy Pareezer. They warmly welcomed us and generously shared their expertise.

Our GM remarked, “It was a very interesting visit, and we learned so much about what goes into making sure the coffee we are buying is of the very highest quality, and the science they use to support their work,”

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Nithya and his exceptional team for their warm hospitality and for enhancing our understanding of the art and science of coffee.
