Container shipping market outlook for 2023
The container shipping company enjoyed an unprecedented boom during the pandemic but it seems to be a difference in the year 2023.

LCL cartage rates in Melbourne
At Freight Mart we strive to provide our customers with the most cost effective transport solutions, whilst maintaining the highest standards in customer service, and ensuring the safety of all within our supply chain.
Over the past few months, our transport team has been waiting more than the usual time at LCL unpack deports, sometimes more than 2 hours. Whilst we always try to maintain the current cost structure, it is not commercially viable to continue to absorb the costs.
The new rates for the LCL cartage will be applied to LCL jobs in which the waiting time is longer than 2 hours at LCL unpack depots, effective early of February 2023.

When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up? A prosecution lawyer. So I could put all the bad guys in jail and work to change the law to protect the victims of crime.
Favourite Books, Movies or TV shows? True Crime TV Documentaries. Favourite Series is Outlander.

Melbourne Branch was excited about the Australian Open
The Australian Open has been an excellent tournament for Tennis fans and has been going on for a week and a half. Started on Monday 16th January 2023 and ended on Sunday 29th January 2023.
Our Melbourne branch are huge tennis fans. Shae attended the 2nd day which she said was one of the best tennis matches she has seen.
Shae and her family were treated to an epic five-set match between Andy Murray and Matteo Berrettini, with Murray taking out the win.
Freight Mart International Malaysia Annual Dinner 2023
Freight Mart International Malaysia held their 2023 Annual dinner at the Lou Sifu Signatures, private dining in Selayang this year.
Company dinner always is an event that most employees look forward to where it’s a day they can dress up and get together for a big celebration with good food and have the opportunity to socialise outside our normal work environment. We did the same this year, but we changed it a bit and added a very special theme called “Back to School” which was a really fun and memorable dinner for everyone.
The 2022 Best Attendance Awards were given to some employees on the night, congratulations to Jim Pang, Angie Ng, Elaine Mok, Mayjune Chiu, Joe Wah, Jasmine Fock, and Coco Loh for the achievement.
There was another award given on the night to Joselyn Yap, who won the Best Dress of the night! We thank all our colleagues for their effort, and we definitely looking forward to the next year.
